Cops Pay Back 5-Year-Olds Kindness With Surprise Squad Car Of His Own

When it comes to acts of kindness, there is no deed too small or too insignificant. And for one little boy, his kindness has not only gained him national attention, but has finally gotten him a special gift in return.

William “Bubba” Evertz Jr. is a five-year-old boy who loves the Winslow Township Police Department. He recently became a nationwide star after the story emerged that he had saved up his allowance to buy lunch for the police officers in Winslow Township.

This was only one of the many acts of kindness William has been performing in an effort to help others. He has also been helping to collect toys, supplies, and clothes for a local domestic violence shelter and assisting with a nearby animal shelter.

But now, even though he never asked for it, young William is finally getting a reward for all of his amazing deeds.

The Winslow Township Police Department decided to surprise William with a mini squad car of his own.

Five-year-old William “Bubba” Evertz Jr. has been in the news quite a bit lately for his random acts of kindness, most notably, buying lunch for the Winslow Township Police Department using his allowance.

The department writes on Facebook: “One of his acts was to deliver lunch to the police officers in his community who keep him safe ‘even when he sleeps.’”

The post continues:

“William chose to buy lunch from his allowance from Subway because he wants the officers ‘to be healthy.’”

This gesture towards the officers in his community did not go unnoticed. William’s story has gone viral, with his message of kindness and generosity inspiring people around the world.

But this William-sponsored police officer lunch wasn’t the onlyamazing deed.

The Winslow Township PD also posted this photo with the caption:

“William Evertz Jr. and his cousin Josh continuing their acts of kindness with this delivery to the Safe Havens women’s shelter…

“You have become a role model throughout the country.”

But whether buying lunch, delivering goods, or even donating money to a family with daycare expenses, William’s work was especially noticed by his community’s officers.

And so, they decided to surprise him in the most incredible way possible: with a mini squad car of his own!

They write on Facebook:

“As a thank you for lunch and being such a great kid, Winslow Twp Police officers bought and delivered William…his personalized Winslow Twp Police car today.”
