When it comes to acts of kindness, there is no deed too small or too insignificant. And for one little boy, his kindness has not only gained him national attention, but has finally gotten him a special gift in return.
This was only one of the many acts of kindness William has been performing in an effort to help others. He has also been helping to collect toys, supplies, and clothes for a local domestic violence shelter and assisting with a nearby animal shelter.
But now, even though he never asked for it, young William is finally getting a reward for all of his amazing deeds.
The Winslow Township Police Department decided to surprise William with a mini squad car of his own.
Scroll through below for a look at this incredible boy’s story and to see how these amazing officers were able to say “thank you” for all that he’s done.
Five-year-old William “Bubba” Evertz Jr. has been in the news quite a bit lately for his random acts of kindness, most notably, buying lunch for the Winslow Township Police Department using his allowance.
The department writes on Facebook: “One of his acts was to deliver lunch to the police officers in his community who keep him safe ‘even when he sleeps.’”
