Between the costumes and the candy, trick-or-treating on Halloween is one the of the most funthings little kids get to do all year!

But if they have to travelonthe big night of frights and free candy, it can be a serious bummer.

One dad in happened to be on a flight from Boston with his little girl on Halloween but he cleverly found a way to make the night special for her.

While the plane was on its way to San Francisco, the dad got up and began to approach people in the aisle.

He then handed them each a little Halloween-themed treat.

The treats came attached with a small orange note in a cute pumpkin shape.

In the note, he explained his plan to give his daughter a fun night even though she couldn’t trick-or-treat at home. It read:

“My three-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldnt be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… So I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her.

“If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. Youll be making her Halloween!

“If youre unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”

Then, sure enough, little Molly made her way down the aisle, all dressed up and ready to get her candy.

She paraded down the plane, politely saying “trick or treat” to passengers, who happily dropped their pre-delivered Halloween candyinto her bag.

Stephanie Kahan was apassengers on the plane whoreceived the father’s sweet note, and she made sure to snap a picture of the adorable familycelebrating Halloween in the sky.

She then tweeted the entire experience along with the dad’s sweet note.

“OMG, my heart is exploding right now,” she tweeted. “Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat.”

For obvious reasons, the pictures tugged on everyone’s heartstrings and quickly went viral.
