High School Principal Suspends Student For Taking Photo In The Bathroom

By  |

Hazel Juco was about to wash her hands in the bathroom when she noticed something rather strange.

The water was pouring out of the sink, but instead of clear and clean liquid, she noticed that the water was brown and disgusting!

The student, understandably angry, snapped a photo of the brown water and uploaded it to her social media pages. Juco admits that her school is often short on money, and was hoping that someone would see her photo and donate some money to help solve the school’s problems.

However, instead of getting help, she was called into the principal’s office.

It turned out that Juco was being suspended for three days for incorrect use of her cell phone. Juco was confused, seeing as dozens of girls her age snap photos of selfies and upload them onto the internet. She was understandably angry at the injustice.

Instead of focusing on the actual problem (the dirty water), they were gettingherin trouble?

Thankfully, this occurrence was so unjust and ridiculous, that Juco’s story wentviral. The superintendent for the county’s school sent a plumber out to fix the problem and immediately wiped Juco’srecord of the suspension. It turns out that the rule was to protect other students from unauthorized photos of them being taken in the bathroom. It had nothing to do with the sink!
