Hikers have a terrifying close encounter with a grizzly bear

By  |

A few people hiking in Glacier National Park in Montana this summer had a terrifying close call with a grizzly bear.

According to the YouTube description, the hikers were walking to a waterfall sometime in August when they spotted a grizzly bear eating some berries in the bushes. As if that wasn’t scary enough, they noticed another grizzly coming up the trail just 50 feet behind them.

The hikers decided to slowly walk backwards as the grizzly approached, as seen in the clip above. This went on for approximately 30 minutes before the whole ordeal ended on a much lighter note.

“We saw him take a poop and go for a swim,” the uploader wrote in the YouTube description.

Bears, they’re just like us.
