Homeless Mom Holds Up Sign About Shelter, Then Young Stranger Walks Up With Bag Of McDonalds
Its so easy to be so wrapped up in what we have going on that we dont see the people in need all around us. Thankfully, there are still people out there who genuinely care for others and they show it in the smallest ways.
Ten-year-old Leah Nelson is one of those people, and she just about made a homeless woman and her sons day when she showed she cares about them.
Leah was walking down the street with her dad one day when she saw a homelesswoman with her son and a few suitcases. The woman held a sign that read Shelters full, need a room.
Leah couldnt give them a room, but what she could do is show them both that even though they may be having a hard time right now, someone still cares about them.
So, she and her dad went down the street to McDonalds and bought a Happy Meal and a burger for the son and mom.
Leah walks back with both bags in her hands, and when she hands them over, the son and mom are completely stunned.
Its people like you that are going to save this world, the mom tells Leah with tears in her eyes as she gives her a huge hug as a thank you.
And at 10 years old, Leah might just do that.
