Teacher Moved To Tears By Strangers Kindness While Buying School Supplies
With the school year beginning for many kids across the country, teachers are also gearing up for all the lessons they have planned for their young minds.
Many of those teachers go out of their way to make sure the students in their seats are given the best chance possible to succeed, even spending money from their own pocket to provide the materials they’ll need to do so. That’s exactly what San Antonio, TX,Teacher Sabrina Drude was stocking up on when she headed out on a recent trip to Walmart.
The seventh-grade teacher racked up a $97.00 total with her pile of spiral notebooks, but Drude was shocked to see the man behind her in line pay the cost without a second thought.
Though he remained anonymous at first, social media sleuths discoveredit was a local paster,Lester Brown, who acted as a Good Samaritan that day for the Scobee Middle Schoolstudents. The father of five credits God for inspiring his kindness, saying he had been holding onto a $100.00 bill waiting for the right opportunity to spend it on someone in need.
Now, his actions are inspiring so many others as the story spreads across our Facebook feeds. While many of us might not be able to afford a financial donation like Brown, we can all make someone’s day a little brighter if we try.
Brown hopes that others follow in his footsteps at every chance, ending with a simple message: “Love thy neighbor means do your part.
